Privacy Policy

How we process and protect your personal data.

1. Controller and contact

The controller is Fintera Group SIA, registration no. 40203701543, registered address: Ilvas iela 1-2, Vīkuļi, Babītes pag., Mārupes nov., LV-2107, Latvia. For questions about personal data or to exercise your rights, email info@fleet.lv. Telephone: +371 20 800 800.

2. Information we process

Contact form: the name, email address and message you provide. Vehicle enquiries and rental requests additionally include your phone number, selected vehicle, rental start and end dates, calculated price and request status.

Technical information, such as an IP address, request time, browser information and error or access logs, may be processed to operate and secure the website and its hosting services.

Please do not include personal identification numbers, payment card details, document copies or sensitive personal data in messages unless specifically requested for the relevant service.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process transaction-related enquiries and rental requests to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and, if a contract is concluded, to perform it (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).

General correspondence, website security and necessary protection of legal interests are based on our legitimate interests in answering questions, preventing misuse and protecting our rights, balanced against your rights (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

If a transaction creates accounting or other statutory obligations, the relevant documents are processed to comply with a legal obligation (GDPR Article 6(1)(c)). Submitting a contact form is not consent to advertising; this website does not subscribe you to newsletters or marketing messages.

4. Providing data and submitting requests

You provide data voluntarily. Required form fields are needed to contact you and handle the relevant request. Without that information, the request cannot be submitted or fully processed.

Website forms send a request. They do not by themselves confirm vehicle availability, a reservation or conclusion of a contract, and do not create an automatic payment obligation. Availability, the final price, taxes, additional charges and applicable conditions are clarified before a transaction.

5. Recipients and service providers

Fintera Group SIA receives requests. Access is limited to people who need it to handle the request. We use Replit for website and database hosting, and Resend to send contact-form email notifications. Contact-form information is stored in the database and emailed to the company.

Email service providers process correspondence to deliver and store it. Where necessary to fulfil legal obligations or address claims, relevant data may be received by competent authorities and legal or accounting service providers. We do not sell enquiry data.

6. Processing outside the European Economic Area

Using Replit, Resend and their subprocessors may involve processing outside the EEA, including in the United States. Their published data processing agreements provide international transfer safeguards, including European Commission standard contractual clauses where applicable. This does not mean that data is stored exclusively in the EU.

The providers' terms and stated safeguards are available through the links below. Contact us for further information about the arrangements applicable to your data.

7. How retention is determined

Retention depends on the purpose and necessity: handling the request and completing correspondence; performing a concluded contract; statutory document-retention periods; or a justified need to address a possible dispute, taking applicable limitation periods into account. A single two-year period does not apply to all data.

Data must not be retained longer than necessary for its purpose. Email info@fleet.lv to ask about retention of a particular request or request its deletion. Erasure rights may be limited where documents must be retained by law or are necessary to protect legal claims.

8. Cookies and browser storage

The website application does not use analytics or advertising cookies, Google Analytics or Meta Pixel. Local fonts are served by this website rather than Google Fonts. The application does not create a cookie-consent preference for browsing public pages.

Session storage (sessionStorage) is used to maintain administrator access. It is only for administrator access, not visitor tracking, and is normally cleared when the relevant browser tab closes. Hosting infrastructure may use its own technical security or request-processing mechanisms.

You can inspect and delete website data in your browser settings. Blocking technical storage may affect administrator access. If optional tracking tools are introduced in future, separate consent and a way to withdraw it will be required before activation.

9. External links and images

The WhatsApp link opens an external service only when you select it. That service is governed by its provider's privacy terms. If a particular vehicle listing uses an image hosted externally, your browser connects to that server to load it; default images and the website's service photographs are served by this website.

10. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing. Where applicable, you have rights to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Send requests to info@fleet.lv. Where necessary, we may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity. A response is normally due within one month; the period may be extended in legally permitted cases with notice to you. You may lodge a complaint with Latvia's Data State Inspectorate — www.dvi.gov.lv.

These website request forms do not make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on you, and do not profile you for such decisions.
